Shodh-memory is a lightweight (<15MB), fully offline cognitive memory system that runs on-device. Unlike vector databases that just do similarity search, we implement a neuroscience-grounded architecture based on Cowan's working memory model: - Learns with use — Hebbian learning strengthens frequently-accessed patterns - Forgets intelligently — Power-law decay mimics biological memory consolidation - Reasons over knowledge — Graph-based spreading activation, not just vector similarity - Runs anywhere — Raspberry Pi to Jetson to air-gapped defense systems
